BG Europa bucket elevators incorporate the following features to ensure reliable operation and long life expectancy:Boot section from 6mm mild steel with dust seals at shaft entry. Gravity tensioning tie bar arrangement with flange bearings. Foot shaft with split traction wheel or sprocket with hardened face for maximum life.
Mid sections fabricated from 6mm mild steel plate.
Head section from 6mm mild steel with headshaft, felt seals and plummer block bearings. Either split traction wheel or segmented sprocket with hardened face to facilitate change without removal of drive.
Heavy duty shaft mounted torque arm gear unit with fully guarded belt drive.
Single heavy duty chain strand with bolt on buckets.
