BG Europa cold feed units are available in a full range of sizes in stationary, relocatable or mobile designs.
- Stationary units include bolt on support legs suitable for mounting on concrete foundations.
- Relocatable units include steel foundations to allow installation on compact level ground without the need for concrete foundations.
- Mobile units incorporate a fifth wheel towing frame and single or close coupled axles with airbag suspension. Steel foundation plates and an optional hydraulic erection package allow rapid site installation.
Cold feed units feature the following:
Heavy duty aggregate hoppers from 6mm steel.
Steep bin walls 55° and 60° and self relieving hopper discharge Gathering conveyor supported from main frame with hinged conveyor at head end.
Bin vibrator fitted to at least one hopper
Bolt-on type belt feeders with vulcanised endless belt, lagged head drum, spiral tail drum with screw adjustable take-up bearings.
Intermediate roller support design to facilitate the removal of the rollers without the need to remove the endless belt.
Thermistor protected bevel helical geared motor drive directly to head drum providing high torque start and high efficiency operation.
No flow tell tail comprising limit switch and arm mounted on pillow block bearings.
Options include:
- Heavy duty removable inclined grizzly from wear resistant steel.
- Weigh idler fitted within extended belt feeder to accurately measure feed rate.
- Scalping screens installed at each hopper discharge.
- Bolt in replaceable hopper liner in range of materials.
- Weather housing clad in single skin box profile to customers colour choice.
